CASTLE MEADS- FURNITECTURE INITIAL CONCEPTS

As part of Castle meads we also have to develop a more detail design that focuses on an exterior furniture. Inspired by the lotus flower, I created two concepts that reflect that idea. The first ones ( top left, middle left ) draw inspiration by giant lotus pads, whilst the bottom right is inspired by the really interesting shape of the flower at its early stage, but also final stage, unrecognizable because of the lack of petals but a fascinating organic form that is centred around the seeds. 

I'm excited to further develop these ideas, as the flower has various elements that can be used as inspiration.
