A series of images depict the final result of the quick skills task for AD6603. The aim was to create a 3D model on sketchup, trace it and then import it into photoshop for a quick render, everything should've ideally taken max 2 hours, which of course, didn't. Jumping back onto sketchup after a while was challenging, as I found myself struggling with some forms such as the half sphere forms of the second rows of trees. Overall it took me about 3 hours and a half to complete the sketchup model eventually.
I managed however to round it up really quickly on photoshop by sketching the model really quickly, with bold, decisive lines so that it would be easy to select with the magic wand. I then went over with some water colour brushes and finally added silhouttes to animate the space and to give an idea of the scale.

This is not a new task, we have done this last year and the comparison is interesting because I prefer how the initial one turned out..however the point was to be able to create a presentable, completed model and sketches in a short amount of time therefore it is important to keep in mind of the goals you set yourself and time limits.
