Superkilen project - The green Square

 

And finally the Green square, characterized by a long green belt in the district of Norrebro, city of Copenhagen, Denmark. This side of the site appeals to young people and families. Also known as the section where sport is practiced, the green square offers facilities such as hockey and basketball pitches as well as outdoor gym facilities. The green, hilly areas are also perfect for days out in the sun and recreational use.

Greenery is fundamental in a site, adding biophilic element to a design is always a plus and Superkilen included this alongside the other facilities which is brilliant to complete a site with residential areas nearby.
